Our studio follows Massachusetts Body Art Regulations, and everyone who pierces here is trained and licensed under those standards. Piercing is performed by Cristiana, who has spent 7-8 years focused specifically on body art after 18 years in the beauty industry overall, and by Evelyn, who also pierces clients of all ages and styles.

A Note for Parents
For parents, the biggest worries are usually pain, fear, healing, and whether it'll be done right. For kids, it's about feeling comfortable and confident in a big moment. We take the time to make first piercings calm, patient, and reassuring for both.
All clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a birth certificate and guardian ID. Cartilage piercings are available starting at age 14. Facial piercings (lips, Medusa, Madonna, snake bites, eyebrows) require a minimum age of 16.
Technique Matters, Especially Where It Heals
Every placement has its own healing considerations, and we choose jewelry accordingly, not just for looks. Nostril piercings, for example, are pierced first with a straight labret stud rather than a hoop. That area sees a lot of movement during healing, and a hoop would rotate constantly against tissue that's still repairing itself. Once healing is further along, it can be upgraded to a small hoop if that's the look you want.
Understanding healing also means understanding your body's own signals. A scab is your body's way of protecting the area while it heals, it isn't something to pick or force off. When it falls away naturally on its own, that's a sign your piercing has healed.
