Microneedling in North Andover, MA

Your skin already knows how to repair itself.

Microneedling just gives it a reason to.

Microneedling uses fine, sterile needles to create tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin. That small injury kicks off your body's own healing response, which means more collagen and elastin exactly where you need it. It's one of the few treatments that gets better with time instead of fading. Results keep improving for months after your last session, not just in the days right after.

It's commonly used for acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and stretch marks. And unlike some laser treatments, it's considered safe for a much wider range of skin tones, since it doesn't rely on heat or light to work. The American Academy of Dermatology backs this up too: the healing process microneedling triggers genuinely reduces the appearance of scars and dark spots. It's not just a temporary glow.

What Happens at Your Appointment

We start by cleansing the treatment area and applying a numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Most clients describe the sensation during treatment as mild pressure or warmth, not pain.

From there, a pen-like device glides across your skin creating hundreds of microscopic channels. A full session runs about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the area.

Afterward, expect some redness and a mild sunburn-like feeling for a few days. That's just your skin doing exactly what it's supposed to.

Who It's a Good Fit For

Most skin types and tones do well with microneedling, including many people who've been told other resurfacing treatments carry too much risk for their skin. It's not the right choice if you have active acne breakouts, severe keloid scarring, or an active skin infection. We'll go over your skin and history together before we start to make sure it's a good match.

Results Take a Little Time, and That's the Point

  • You may notice a fresh glow right after treatment

  • The real changes build gradually over 3 to 6 months as new collagen forms

  • Most people see the best results from a series of 3 to 5 sessions, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart

  • Keep skin moisturized and protected with SPF 30+ afterward. This really does matter for healing well and avoiding sun damage

Who's Doing Your Treatment

Microneedling is performed personally by Cristiana, a licensed Master Esthetician with 18 years in the beauty industry. She's also trained in laser technology and permanent makeup, so your treatment plan comes from someone who understands skin and healing broadly, not just one technique on repeat.

Since a series of sessions is often the best approach, we also offer flexible payment plans through Cherry if you'd like to spread out the cost.
